Just returned from Alice Springs where 2002 Year Of The Outback has launched, with the assistance of the Prime Minister, John Howard, a new sport's mentoring program for rural youth. Exciting stuff which will hopefully inspire many young Australians through government funding, the presence of famous sportspeople and the support of communities and their own sporting heroes. Keep inspiring Australia, its the initial small steps that are often hardest but count the most.
