Last month I had the privilege to be named an ambassador for The Fred Hollows Foundation. With privilege comes the recognition that our work must be ongoing. The Hollows Foundation will launch a new program called 'See The World', on May 22nd. This program is setup as a 'win-win' scenario. Any individual, or group, that can raise $4500 for The FHF, wil receive a complimentary trip abroad to witness Fred's legacy in developing nations. In the next few months I plan to travel to Toronto, Canada for World Youth Day. A run across South Africa, in 2003, is in the pipeline. It is hoped such an event would create world-wide awareness for the FHF's new programs in the Eastern Cape Province.
