Finished in 66 days 23hrs and 2mins. The relief is overwhelming along with the innundation by media and uni assignments! Will have a final report ready very soon.

Right on track - except the van has stalled and we are in Campbelltown shopping mall, 5km from our logged finishing point. How good are Sydney taxis?

Following the ceremony at the harbour tomorrow we will travel to E.S. Marks field, Kensington. Here my old school is hosting an athletics carnival at which I may just have a run! From there we return to the Opera House and make the 16km run to Bondi. Everybody is welcome to run the 'City to Surf' which will begin at the steps around 3pm, and then stay for the pouring of the 'Indian' into the 'Pacific'.

A very frustrating morning plagued by van troubles and increasing media attention.

With the assistance of some very nice people, the van is coping oncemore and my time alone was restricted to under three hours with the return of aid resulting in the resumption of a steady pace.

In the days following the finish I will post official run statistics as well as the speeches made by those at the concluding ceremony. This will include thanks for the many involved in this campaign. But whilst I have the chance I will note my gratitude to the many hundreds of individuals and corporations that have made this dream a success for all parties involved. I hope the achievements of this run will serve as inspiration for all Australians who have big goals but lack confidence. All big journeys begin with small steps. More to come in my final speech!

119km to Sydney.

Bon voyage white line. I'm going to miss you.

Innundation. At 4am we receive calls from mates returning from a big night on the town with the message that many of my friends are driving down for the day. Six hours and three carloads later 15 blokes and girls are trotting past Goulburn. Met at the northern exit by 16 police cadets from the Goulburn academy, we are accompanied for 6km by the group and their PT instructor.

I've run into some hip injuries that are slowing my progress but with the confidence that saw me set a finish date a month back, we're right on schedule for a finish in under three days.

It's great to have the support of my mates who have also offered to help with local fundraising this afternoon. We have approximately 174km remaining.

Rapidly approaching $20000.
